Can of Eberhardjes Cookies
Amsterdam has its own cookie: the 'Eberhardje'. Named after Eberhard van der Laan the beloved former mayor of Amsterdam who passed away in 2017.
The cookie serves as a tribute, representing connection, a love for the city, and his famous final words: "Take good care of our city and of each other." It represents the connection between the people of Amsterdam. Eberhardjes cookies in a tin. Each tin contains 16 Eberhardjes cookies.
For every pack sold, a portion of the proceeds is donated to the 'Eberhard voor Amsterdam' (Eberhard for Amsterdam) foundation. This foundation aims to (co)finance activities and projects focused on bringing the people of Amsterdam together.
